On Saturday I went to ride a horse in Tuscany. His name was Mambo. Mambo was the best behaved horse. He was the only horse who did not try eat grass and when my others horse nipped him in the bum he did not care. I rode through the vineyards with San Gimignano in the background. It was beautiful.
Pepe the dog was so funny! He was always in front of the horses and when he knew he had time he would play in the vineyards. And when we left and stopped petting him, he started barking.
After the ride we went to San Gimignano and had the best gelato in Italy. But I didn’t think it was the best. That’s just my opinion.
We had lunch at a winery. I got to ride a Vespa and hang out with more horses.
I can’t forget about Friday. We went to the leather making school and then to see the tombs of Michelangelo, Dante and Galileo.
We have four more days in Florence and then we go to Venice.
Well, that’s special to ride a horse in Italy! I’m sure it was beautiful! It sounds like the horse was wonderful! Have you been speaking in Italian?
You certainly fill your day with interesting activities. Sword and wine bottle??
The Tuscan countryside is beautiful...but I think my favorite picture so far is the one of you with the giant rooster sculpture😀
